About Me

My name is Cindy Fahnestock and I have been working in the food industry for 25 years. I am Serv-Safe certified, plus carry two additional certifications in Food Safety.

My idea for my own company was to offer food and drinks in a more green manner , offering the novelty cups to teach kids to recycle and reuse.  I wanted to make small changes so that I could be a little more green.  (Read about how I do this on the Green Page.)

I also wanted to "give back" to charity causes.  I donate some of my profits to several charity organizations including Habitat for Humanity, Cancer Groups, House of Ruth, American Diabetes Association, Goodwill, SPCA, Basset Hound Rescue, the West Memphis Three, Youth Charity Groups, and Earth and Environmental Groups.

I'm a food vendor with a conscience. I don't put out a crappy product and I don't gouge the customers.  I also offer consulting services for organizations that do not want to deal with their own food at their event.

Outside of Food Vending and a Personal Note of Who I Am:

Personally, it's the things in life and lessons learned that make you who you are today.  I am a published book author and journalist under nom de' plume Ira Mency,  I lead art groups in the Baltimroe area for eco recycling, and work with a global group of crafters and artists on Etsy for the Etsy Recyclers Guild Team, and find ways to go greener every day.   When I do write now it's mostly about greener ways of living!
